Leah Senior is an Australian singer-songwriter out of Australia who makes what I lovingly call Aussie tavern music. It has this wonder and melancholic nature to it that has always reminded me of voices like Carol King and Karen Carpenter. Senior's show at Resonant Head in Oklahoma City was intimate and powerful. I felt she was incredibly kind just from the performance and her audience interactions, but it was solidified after a short conversation we had after the show. I left with some hope and a signed record.
