Gaylord News Washington D.C

They say it takes 6 months for a journalist to get a grasp on how D.C and the Capitol works, we had a few days.

As a student attending the University of Oklahoma, I was lucky and skilled enough to be selected as an Oklahoma Correspondent for the new Gaylord News program in Washington D.C.

We learned what Oklahomans want to know about: Agriculture, Military, and Energy.

Learning the history of our Senators and Congressman in the House of Representatives was a tall task, but one that came with learning of the influence of our representatives in our nation's capital.
